I am deeply honored and humbled to be named a Legend Honoree at the 2025 1865 Legends Ball, a celebration that honors changemakers from across the Southeast who have made powerful, lasting contributions in their communities and fields.

A Legacy Rooted in Service and Vision

To be named a Legend is more than a personal milestone. It’s a celebration of the many people who have shaped my journey—my family, my mentors, my community, and the powerful women and men I’ve had the privilege to walk alongside through entrepreneurship, advocacy, and service.

From founding Luxe Mastermind Business Economic Ventures to leading efforts in federal contracting as COO of JNB Services, LLC, and co-founding Vertex Construction Capital—my passion has always been centered around uplifting others, especially those who are often underestimated. Whether mentoring business owners, supporting military families, or creating platforms for growth and collaboration, my goal is simple: to empower, to connect, and to leave a legacy of courage, compassion, and commitment.

Honored to Be Named a 2025 Legend Honoree

I am incredibly humbled and honored to be selected as a Legend Honoree for the upcoming 1865 Legends Ball, taking place on May 2nd at the Dothan Civic Center.

This recognition is far greater than a personal award—it is a tribute to the roots that ground us, the stories that shape us, and the people we carry with us in everything we do. Being named among the 2025 Class of Legends—alongside extraordinary individuals representing communities across Alabama, Georgia, and Florida—is a moment I will treasure forever.

This year’s honorees span a wide range of cultures including Black, Indigenous, Asian, Caribbean, Latin American, and Jewish backgrounds. Each of us is recognized for making significant and life-changing contributions in fields like:

A Journey to Remember: My Remarkable Women 2025 Experience in Hollywood

From the heart of Dothan, Alabama to the bright lights of Hollywood—this journey was one I never expected, but will never forget.

Being nominated as one of the Remarkable Women of 2025 was already an honor that left me speechless. But stepping into a weekend surrounded by powerful, passionate, and purpose-driven women reminded me just how much beauty there is in every story.

Our first night, Welcome Night, was nothing short of magical. The energy in the room was electric. From the warm introductions to dancing with a DJ spinning great music, there was joy, laughter, and instant sisterhood. It was a moment where every woman’s journey was seen, valued, and celebrated.

On our second day, we explored Hollywood together—a city built on dreams. We had the chance to visit The Jennifer Hudson Show, a space where bold voices and inspirational stories shine. And as I stood there, I realized: every woman on this trip was a story worth telling. Each one carried resilience, strength, and grace that lit up every room we entered.

And then came the Awards Dinner. It wasn’t just a ceremony. It was a moment that humbled me deeply. To be recognized, to be seen—not just for what I do professionally, but for the heart I carry into every role I play: mother, leader, friend, and servant of my community. That night, I didn’t just represent myself—I represented every woman who dares to lead with love, work with integrity, and rise while lifting others.
